Mediterraneo Design Build | The economic tsunami of 2008 took a toll on Menlo Park construction company Mediterraneo Design Center. After almost 20 years of providing end-to-end residential design and construction services, new leaders at the firm questioned whether they should sustain the design and build business model. They also aspired to grow their business by attracting higher-end projects in the sophisticated local Peninsula communities of Atherton, Woodside and Palo Alto. | One Degree conducted extensive research, confirming market receptivity to the firm's structure. Perhaps more importantly, we developed a total brand re-design, including a name change to Mediterraneo Design Build to emphasize the two types of services but also to reinforce the company's design-sensitive approach under either scenario. | A re-branded website, persuasive video, new office and truck graphics, yard signs, even a porta potty poster were developed to overhaul the Mediterraneo image. To say they're now "back in business" is an understatement.
